The origins of the Shanmen Temple date back to the Tang Dynasty (618–907 ce). The temple covers an approximate area of ​​6,000 square meters, with a construction area of ​​about 4,500 square meters. It is composed of Bell and Drum Tower, Tianwang Hall, Daxiong Hall, Tibetan Scripture Building, Yuantong Hall, Manjusri Hall, Wealth Hall and many other supporting halls.
